The Daily Star Newspaper Travel Editor, David Woods commented
"A fabulous service in a fabulous location. There's no finer way to see the delights of
Llandudno, Conwy, Snowdonia and North Wales than with VIP Travel Services."
Ruth & Lloyd from Florida, Fran & Len from Texas, Susan & Jim from New York State
Our cruise ship, the Grand Princess visited Holyhead on the Isle of Anglesey, North Wales and there were six of us who pre-booked VIP Travel Services – North Wales in a Nutshell Tour for our day ashore.
We had the most extraordinary luxury private car tour of North Wales. VIP Travel Services operate with a truly lovely, luxury, comfortable Mercedes vehicle. They spent the day showing us the best of North Wales! We saw the mountains, scenic passes and waterfalls of Snowdonia, and castles at Caernarfon and Conwy, and an ancient church hidden off the tourist trail and small quaint welsh villages and towns. We have done a lot of touring in our lives, but this was one of the best ever private car tours that we have ever done. So if you are going on a cruise that stops at Holyhead, Anglesey, or on a vacation in the UK and visit this area of North Wales, be sure to contact John Hadwin at VIP Travel Services for a perfect day out

We are seasoned European travelers and we were honestly overwhelmed and speechless with the sightseeing transfer that VIP Travel Services organized and operated for us!! We originally just enquired about transport to get us from Conwy to Stratford-upon-Avon and VIP Travel Services recommended that we consider making the most of our visit with a sightseeing transfer across the North East corner and Borders of the North Wales area. Our journey included visits to remote castle ruins and market towns, to churches and cathedrals and we discovered the wonderful UNESCO heritage site of the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct on the Llangollen canal. They also made a stop at a superb Antiques showroom in the country and also organized a lunch stop at a classic British Pub, along with many other photographic stops. Our driver frequently would stop the car and we would be shown the most breathtaking scenery we have ever witnessed in Wales and we thought we knew the destination! The owner has the knowledge of discreet little corners of the country that we believe no other service can offer. John Hadwin is extremely well read on his country and its treasures, both known and unknown to the general public. He knows history inside and out and has wonderful facts to augment the sites and historic treasures. His driving is safe, his car is immaculate and spacious and is ideal for touring in, and furthermore he is a gentleman with the time and care for his passengers. We cannot now imagine a trip to the UK without his services.
Mr & Mrs C. Pettengill, Washington DC, USA
During our recent visit to the UK, my family were incredibly fortunate to be able to rely on VIP Travel Services for our Sightseeing Transfer from Edinburgh in Scotland, to Conwy in North Wales. We also did a sightseeing tour of North Wales and Snowdonia the following day and the owner/chauffeur of VIP Travel Services, John Hadwin is reliable, knowledgeable, and helpful, and his suggestions for what to see and do were invaluable. Mr. Hadwin was very flexible and was willing to adjust the drive to fit our interests. His knowledge of the area and its history come from a lifetime of experience and I highly recommend VIP Travel Services.
Mr & Mrs Martinez from San Francisco – California, USA
We want to take this opportunity to thank you for the wonderful services that you provided to us during our stay in North Wales. We were in Europe for one month and in all sincerity, we have to say North Wales was by far our favorite part of the trip and you very much made this happen with your services. Your knowledge of the area, not only the out of the way locations you took us to (we would have never found any of these on our own). On top of all this, I have to commend you on your choice of vehicle for touring. It was extremely clean, very comfortable and with it having such large windows, made sightseeing very enjoyable. Also a special thank you for not just taking us to Heathrow on the airport transfer, but for suggesting and showing us the other sights of North Wales that we would have missed! This really did round off our visit so nicely and made full use of our last day en route to the airport. You are truly someone who cares about what you do and the people you do it for. It shows in the way you treat your clients and the care you gave us. We want to thank you so much for the way you enriched our experience in North Wales.
Mr Hamish Kean – Jersey, The Channel Islands
I wanted to thank you for your courtesy, attention and great service during my trip to Llandudno. You came highly recommended by my hotel and they were not wrong in what you delivered. Your two hour sightseeing orientation trip around Llandudno and Conwy is something that you should be really proud of. The content and pace of the tour is excellent and it indeed gave me a great introduction to the area with the interesting historical facts and excellent tales along with other interesting background information on the area. It really made the area come alive for me and in only two hours you included so much to see with some brilliant places that I would never have found or otherwise appreciated. You provide great value for money with this orientation of Llandudno and the Conwy area, with many helpful suggestions of places to visit to help me make the most of my visit to the area. I will have no hesitation in recommending you to any friends or colleagues traveling to the area and I shall certainly be back for a return visit.
Randie, Aaron and David Malinsky – New York, USA
We had such a wonderful day touring the North Wales countryside with you. You paced the day well and included activities that appealed to us all, especially the steam train trip and the castles. There were delightful surprises, like the little tea house by the river and the lovely lunch at Portmeirion. We enjoyed the sites with all the interesting perspective you brought to your subject matter. All in all, we had a terrific time and would be most happy to visit again and to recommend your services to friends visiting Wales.
Kathy Accola - Providence, Rhode Island, USA
My daughter and I visited Llandudno, Wales and were treated to the most amazing tour of the area. We did ‘A Taste of North Wales’ Sightseeing Drive with VIP Travel Services and John our driver provided wonderful detail and interesting history about each location we visited. We stopped at so many beautiful and interesting spots (including some that were 'off the beaten path' which John knew would be great photo locations). It was such a treat to be driven from place to place ... by the end of the day I felt like royalty! That day was my favorite of all the ten days that we spent on tour in the UK.
Mrs S. Khemka – Kolkata, India
I recently visited Llandudno in North Wales with my husband, who was here on business. I took the opportunity to do some sightseeing of the North Wales Area. I found VIP Travel Services via a recommendation from the hotel we were staying in and during the course of two days, they showed me some of the most beautiful sights and places I have ever seen throughout my travels around the globe. They are friendly, informative, safe, and drive you around in style in a Mercedes Viano. I highly recommend their service to anyone visiting North Wales.
Mrs J Daintith - London
I just want to thank you for looking after the four of us so well on our tour around the Great Orme, medieval Conwy and the Conwy Valley. It was a great half day tour and well worth swapping the driving to be chauffeured and discover more of this beautiful area of North Wales. Your commentary interested us all and your knowledge and history of the area was fascinating. You made us all very comfortable and responded to what we wanted to do. We particularly liked your afternoon tea stop at the lovely historic riverside cottage in the Conwy Valley. The vehicle was really clean and comfortable and a special thanks for driving so smoothly too on all those windy roads and hills.
