One of the most unique tourist attractions in North Wales is the unusual Italianate village set on its own private peninsula. Portmerion was made famous for being the setting for the 1960s cult TV series The Prisoner. A lifelong vision and project of architect Clough Williams-Ellis, who collected derelict buildings from all around Britain and reassembled them in a dramatic coastal location with landscaped gardens.
The tour also routes you through the stunning Snowdonia National Park along the most scenic road in Wales. We visit the prettiest villages in the Snowdonia National Park and tour along the scenic rocky pass of Aberglaslyn. Another highlight of the touring day is riding on one of the great little steam trains of North Wales along with a visit and photographic stop at historic royal town of Caernarfon.
